Prince of Peace Center

was founded in 1983

by Sister Benita Repasky.

In 1993, Sister Clare Marie Beichner, SSJ, was named as the Center’s second executive director, a post she held for the next twelve years. Upon her return to the order of the Sisters of St. Joseph to assume a formation position, former Development and Volunteer Director Joe Flecher was selected to follow in her footsteps, becoming the third director of the Center. In September of 2019, Jennifer Wallace was selected for the position of CEO following Joe’s retirement, and she leads the Center today. For more than 37 years, the Center has both provided service and support for, and received services and support from, the community of which it is a part.

“It’s not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of person kind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.” – Leo Buscaglia

Prince of Peace Center in 2022

Our friends at Mercer County State Bank selected us to receive a donation through MCSB Gives. They visited us to make their donation and to film a short video about the work we do in this community. We appreciate them so much and we hope you enjoy a brief look at PoPC in 2022!
